CrossFit is defined as constantly varied, functional movement, done at high intensity. What this means in simple terms is we do a variety of workouts, that use the most effective movements from gymnastic/ body weight movements, weightlifting, as well as rowing running and biking! On top of this we pushing ourselves as hard as can or want to on that particular day.
Elements is the cost of 4 personal training sessions
(70.00 x 4 = 280.00) Just 170.00 for a limited time post Covid-19 shutdown (Full time student discounts available for elements). But this also gets your entire Elements Month + Private coach mentoring your first month! Example: If you finish your elements sessions before a month from your start date (most finish in 5-10 days), then you can start taking classes until the end of those 30 days. For instance, you start Elements of June 13th, and you finish the fourth session on June 28th, your monthly membership fees are covered until July 13th. After your elements month is finished, then your official month to month or 12 month membership will start!
Each session starts off with a warm up. Then there is a specific warm-up that involves more moving and stretching to prepare you specifically for the movements you will be learning about that day. Next, you will learn the skills for the day. This portion makes up a bulk of the hour. After you feel confident in the new movements we finish the session with a workout!
Anything you are comfortable working out or exercising in. Make sure they are the clothes you are ok sweating in. When it is nice out we will work out outside if the weather permits it. There are tons of CrossFit-specific clothes and shoes out there but you do not need any of that for Elements. If you are looking to upgrade the clothes to something a little more CrossFit specific we can point you in the right direction.
We would love to welcome to your new home. “Doing CrossFit before” means you’ve done an introductory course at another CrossFit Gym and then you were an active member there for at least 6 months and haven’t taken a significant amount of time off. If your not sure where you fall ask us and we can set up a refresher/test-out session for you. “My buddy showed me some moves in his garage,” “I’ve watched all the videos online”, or even “I played D-1 sports in College” that’s great but you are required to take Elements, if that’s the extent of your CrossFit experience. Trust us you’ll be glad you did!
We are sorry to hear that’s but not a problem. CrossFit can be adjusted, scaled, or modified to fit anyone’s needs. In Elements we can come up with a plan on how to accommodate your injuries!
Any sort of hard strenuous training can be unsafe if it’s performed incorrectly. That’s why we created and refined Elements. Through these intro classes, you are learning not only the correct way to move but also how to properly approach the workouts. Once in classes, you are under the watchful eye of a coach(es) whose sole purpose is to push you outside your comfort zone while maintaining a safe environment. CrossFit done correctly is not dangerous.
Absolutely! We can do partner elements for couples or friends. It’s still (280.00) per person for Elements but after that, you might qualify for a couples discount!
